A tale of two players, connected by more than their enormous contracts. Consider this; both have had a considerable lower body injury (strained quad and pulled hamstring) that has landed them time on the DL, both have had notable slumps during the season (one batted .107 for the second half of May and one didn’t bat .200 until the team’s 11th series of the season), and both are x-factors in determining if their respected teams make the playoffs.
