Dissect and discuss.

  1. David Wright has to be the NL 3rd Baseman

  2. It's a tough case... both are deserving. I went with consistency... and Rolen clearly has been more consistent than Wright. Wright was pedestrian in April and May and suddenly caught fire in June. Rolen has been putting up the same numbers from April to June. Also, check the splits. Rolen is batting pretty much the same against righties and lefties (.299/.304) while Wright mashes lefties but is mediocre against right-handed pitchers (.276/.431). Both deserve it, and both will get in, but I think Rolen should start. Just my two cents.

  3. You make a good argument, they both deserve to be there and when one starts, the other should be right behind.

  4. I would start Swisher over Gardner, but make Gardy a reserve for sure. Those guys, Cano and the starters have saved the season
